Private Nursing Fees
Professional nursing care, with clear and transparent pricing.
At Nursing Plus Home Care, we believe you should feel comfortable and informed about the cost of your care from the beginning.
Our private nursing fees are based on the time and level of clinical care you require, with no need for a referral or government-funded care package to access our private nursing services.

Initial Nursing Assessment
$175 – up to 90 minutes
Your care begins with a comprehensive Registered Nurse assessment in your home. This gives us time to get to know you, understand your health needs and goals, review your current care and develop an individualised nursing care plan.

Standard Nursing Care
Up to 30 minutes – $85
31–45 minutes – $119
46–60 minutes – $135
Additional 15 minutes after 60 minutes - $34
Suitable for routine nursing needs such as uncomplicated wound care, post-operative support, medication assistance, clinical observations, routine catheter or stoma care and routine palliative nursing.

Complex Nursing Care
Up to 30 minutes – $105
31–45 minutes – $147
46–60 minutes – $165
Additional 15 minutes after 60 minutes - $42
Complex Nursing Care is available when your care requires additional clinical assessment, intervention or specialised nursing expertise. This may include complex wound management, wound packing, PICC care, IV therapy, syringe driver management, post-operative complications and end-of-life nursing care.

What's Included
Routine clinical supplies such as gloves, saline, gauze, dressing packs and basic dressings are included in your nursing fee.
If specialised or advanced dressings or other higher-cost clinical products are required, these can be supplied by you or provided by Nursing Plus Home Care for an additional fee.

Travel
Travel is included within our standard service area from Safety Beach through to Thompsons Road, Coffs Harbour, and surrounding areas.
Need care a little further away? Please get in touch. We may still be able to help, with additional travel charged at $1.20 per kilometre outside our standard service area.

Simple Weekly Invoicing
Private clients are invoiced weekly, with 7 days to pay by bank transfer.
GST will be applied where required under Austarlian taxation law.

Need to Cancel?
We understand that plans can change. Cancellations made with more than 24 hours' notice will not incur a cancellation fee. For cancellations made with less than 24 hours' notice, a cancellation fee of up to the value of the booked service may apply. If your nurse has already commenced travel, applicable travel costs may also apply. Exceptional circumstances, including unexpected hospital admissions or medical emergencies, will be considered.
