Private Nursing Fees
Professional nursing care, with clear and transparent pricing.
At Nursing Plus Home Care, we believe you should feel comfortable and informed about the cost of your care from the beginning.
Our private nursing fees are based on the time and level of clinical care you require, with no need for a referral or government-funded care package to access our private nursing services.

Initial Nursing Assessment
A comprehensive Registered Nurse assessment in your home, including review of your current health needs, medical history, medications, existing supports and care goals. We'll discuss any areas of concern, assess your home care requirements and develop an individualised nursing care plan tailored to you.

Standard Nursing Care
Routine Registered Nurse care for stable and uncomplicated health needs. This may include simple wound care and dressing changes, routine medication support, clinical observations, catheter care, post-operative monitoring and other planned nursing care that does not require complex clinical intervention.
Fees are based on the length of the visit, as shown in the table.

Complex Nursing Care
Registered Nurse care for more complex or higher-level clinical needs requiring additional assessment, monitoring or intervention. This may include complex wound care, wound packing or VAC therapy, end-of-life palliative care, syringe drivers, IV infusions nor PICC care, catheter complications, changes in condition, and care requiring GP or other health-care provider liason.
Fees are based on the length of visit as per the table.

Clinical Supplies and Dressings
Routine clinical supplies such as gloves, saline, gauze, dressing packs and basic dressings are included in your nursing fee.
If specialised or advanced dressings or other higher-cost clinical products are required, these can be supplied by you or provided by Nursing Plus Home Care for an additional fee.

Travel
Travel within our standard service area- from Safety Beach through to Thompsons Road, Coffs Harbour, and surrounding areas is included in your nursing fee.
For clients outside our standard service area, additional travel may be available and is charged at $1.20/km. Please contact us to discuss availability and any applicable travel costs before booking.

Simple Weekly Invoicing
Private clients are invoiced weekly, with payment due within 7 days by bank transfer.
GST will be applied where required under Australian taxation law.

Need to Cancel?
We understand that plans can change.
Cancellations made more than 24 hours' notice before your scheduled visit will not incur a cancellation fee.
Cancellations made with less than 24 hours' notice, may incur a fee of up to the value of the booked service. If your nurse has already commenced travel, applicable travel costs may also apply.
Exceptional circumstances, including unexpected hospital admissions or medical emergencies, will be considered.
